We all have a family or tribe. These are our people - the ones to whom we belong and who belong to us. They are the ones who shape our lives and give us meaning and joy. Amid all the crazy schedules and commitments, our people are the ones who matter most. Celebrating everyday moments and special milestones with them are the kinds of stories we want to document and remember, right?
Most of us try to document our lives, especially when we have family and friends who live far away. But sometimes, it is hard to record the stories of our everyday activities, little rituals, or evolving family traditions and be present in them. These images – real life stories documenting intimate connections, quirky personalities, favourite activities and life stages - are the ones I love and want to capture for you. The ones that make you laugh out loud, grin, light up with joy or shed a tear. The ones where you can remember the exact time and place in your history, and which prompt all sorts of other memories.
I'm a storyteller at heart.
